I fell in love with all things English when I saw "Mary Poppins". I've been fascinated with the British ever since! The country, the customs, the teacups, the hats....the accent! The castles, the funny names for things (toad-in-the-hole, jacket potato, biscuits, pudding...hmm...all involve food) the antiques, the gardens - it just doesn't end for me. I love a good cuppa.
My dear friend, Gillian, went to Yorkshire recently and brought me some prezzies (yep, another British term) I received Yorkshire tea, a toast rack, a lovely postcard of Yorkshire and a jar of "Gale's Lemon Curd". Absolutely wonderful! I felt so spoiled and pampered when I had tea & toast.
